Relaxing in the Cotswolds
To celebrate four years of marriage we took a nice relaxing break in the Cotswolds. While some would not regard a 14 mile ramble relaxing, soaking in the pool and spa afterwards certainly was! Click on the link below to see our photos...

London Freewheel 2008
We enjoyed the London Freewheel bike ride so much last year that we decided to go again. Inspired by the cycling heroics of our Beijing Olympians we pedalled our way from Clapham Common to central London, round the 12km course, round again, and back to Clapham. We were joined by over 50,000 other cyclists, including Chris' parents.

Chicago - The Windy City
We recently visited Chicago for the wedding of Tim & Monica. Tim is Chris' friend from university. We enjoyed the wedding very much, since it was a good opportunity to meet up with old friends. We also had a few days to be tourists and see the sites of Chicago – scale 103 floors to the top of the Sears Tower, see the lions at Lincoln Park Zoo, relax in Millennium Park, shop on the 'Magnificent Mile', see the dolphins play at the Shedd Aquarium, the stars at the Adler Planetarium and see the largest and most complete T-Rex fossil ever found at the Field Museum. Lin got to do a spot of sunbathing at the beach and we both 'swam' in Lake Michigan . A visit to Chicago would be incomplete without some type of sport and we managed to take in a game of baseball, watching the Chicago White Sox lose to the Boston Red Sox. See our photo album (plus a few of the professional pics) and videos below:

Leonardslee Gardens
We enjoyed the bank holiday weekend by spending the day at Leonardslee Gardens, down in Sussex. Leonardslee is world-famous for its rhododendrons and azaleas, and the results in springtime can be spectacular. See the photo album and video below.
That inspired us to get out into our garden. The results are less spectacular, but pleasing none-the-less.

Our Visit to Edinburgh
More weddings! Back in March we travelled up to Edinburgh for Lin's sisters' wedding. And while we were up there we thought we would take a few days to look round. Click on the album below to see our photos. Highlights included climbing Arthur's Seat for fantastic views over the city, sampling a wee dram at the Scotch Whisky Experience, climbing the Scott Monument on a terrifyingly windy day (see the video below for evidence of that) and a visit to Edinburgh Castle.

Goodbye to the Old Sofas!
Good Friday Walk
Here are some photos from the annual Good Friday walk. This year we strolled over the South Downs at Lancing, down the River Adur to Shoreham and back along the coastal path. We got back to the car just as the hail stones began to fall!

Wedding Fever!
We’ve hit the wedding season again already. It’s shaping up to be a big one this year. Just after Christmas we saw Yeda marry Andy Clews in a sub-tropical paradise (The Barbican). And then last weekend Jessica married Nelson Tamayao. Both brides looked beautiful and both grooms looked very pleased with themselves!
And there are three more weddings booked in our calendar…
