The Monaco Grand Prix

While down on the French Riviera we popped over the border to watch the Monaco Grand Prix. With seats in the grandstand over the marina we got to see the cars whizz round the famous Swimming Pool Chicane, and cheer Jenson Button on to victory. We also had best seats in the house for a view of Kovalainen wrecking his off-the-pace McLaren. See our videos (and an overview from the BBC) below.

Max Mosley Media Scrum

The evening before the Monaco Grand Prix we went for a stroll round the circuit. When we came to the 'Automobile Club de Monaco' (on the finishing straight) we found a crowd of press waiting outside. So we decided to wait. Then this happened...

Holidaying on the Cote d'Azur

We enjoyed a lovely week on the Cote d'Azur, soaking up the glamour and excitement of Monte Carlo and the Monaco Grand Prix, eating out in Nice, sunning ourselves on the sandy beach at Juan-le-Pins, and strolling round the medieval streets of the hill-top village of Eze. See our photos in the album below:
